Here is a plea from our support department: if you want to remove a widget, always use the Remove button. If you just select and delete the placeholder, you may run into trouble later.

Some of our widgets use images. To give you a clue about where the image may appear and in what size, the widget will provide a placeholder. In the image, you can see the placeholder and its handles.

The actual content of the placeholder is not determined until the web page is loaded in the web browser.

If you want to remove a widget, never delete just the placeholder. The widget will still be there and the results may be unpredictable.

The proper way to delete a widget is to go to the cell where the widget itself is located and press the Remove button. Removing an image widget with a placeholder will remove both the widget and the placeholder.
